Never before has the title of mother and occupation merged with such hostility, but this doesn’t have to be the case. 1 “Akuryo Taisan!” - Somewhat of a traditional japanese spirit deflection. I don’t truly know the history of it but seeing as Rei was raised in a temple, it reflects her spiritual powers and how she can sense demons/youmas.

2 Mars Power Make Up - I always did love the noise her shoes made when they appeared. Her basic transformation scene and it’s pretty intense.

3 Fire Soul - Her main fire power; shooting flames from her finger tips. In this clip, it makes a huge fire wall and I think actually kills the youma which is kinda a first. XD

4 “Akuryo Taisan!” Mars Version - Pretty much the same thing except with a different chant. The premise is the same as the first though.

5 Fire Soul Bird - A huge improvement on her main attack. Although she only uses it once. I love how she chants before she uses the attack. It’s so freaking kick ass. x3

6 Mars Star Power Make Up - Basically the same, just with a slightly different backround.

7 Burning Mandala - I used to love this attack when I was little. Although back then I thought they looked similar to onion rings XD She basically makes several rings of fire, which then serves as a new attack.

8 Mars Crystal Power Make Up - Her fire is a bit more intense and her skirt is shinier but all in all it’s relatively the same.

9 Mars Flame Sniper - For some reason, she seems to be prettier in this attack then in all the others o.o It’s probably the way they drew her. She now can shoot flaming arrows at someone.
